I take pictures and don't send them out for weeks because it's so time-consuming to transfer them to my phone using T6i's wi-fi then transferrign to the cloud then downloading them from the cloud. I can't believe this situation exists. Has anyone overcome the problem besides the suggestions here?

I even tried to go back to Windows 8 but can't. Why on Earth don't you just buy a card reader? They're cheap and reliable and would let you circumvent all of that ludicrously complex workflow. Many of us run all of the Canon software, including EOS Utility, on Windows 10 with no problems.
